Mayim Bialik reveals why she hangs the Mezuzah

A mezuzah is a simple Jewish commandment to observe.

It is written on a small scroll that is affixed to the doorposts of homes.

It is here as a reminder that God is in our homes at all times.

Our doorposts are holy. A Jewish home needs to have a door that allows the right things in and the wrong things out.

Mayim Bialik’s beautiful explanation of the holiness of boundaries that the Mezuzah signifies is both enlightening and inspiring.
